hey carty,

out of interest do you know what piece of legislation that's from - i don't currently have a problem but it's always useful to know the name of the law and what it actually says.

Dont know exactly what legislation its from, but I run a Nokia repair centre and the retailer I do repair work for have told me that in consumer law they are the responsible party in such cases as the contract of sale is with them.
e.g if I cant repair a handset onsite and it goes back to Nokia if they havent returned the repaired handset or a replacement to me within a specific time its the retailer who is responsibe and its up to them to replace the handset for the customer becasue if the customer decides to make a small claim its against the retailer not the manufacturer.
Thats in Irish Consumer Law so its the same regardless of the product.

i think the real test for this suit will be in 2 or 3 months when she´s well wore and to see how she´s faring out. longboardirl/hang loose.jpg

just bought my winter suit for next year here. o'neil mutant 5/3 for €170 inc p&p biggrin.gif . XL, XXL and XS available.

Savage the odd sizes, sometimes its good being midgetly proportioned. The Alder plasma has served me very well, the 5/4 is super warm and fairly flexable i think its a bit cheaper than the others too.

Now then, i could go back and read all this but good lord im lazy.

Any one (other then Nat, who's opinions dont count) have a opinion on the O Neill Mutant? Im very undecided as to what to go for this year

Spud 395- 09-10-2008
I'm also going to be picking up a winter suit soon, it would be great for someone to read the previous 28 pages of this tread and tell me what to go for wink.gif

Are the lower end suits (from the big brands, ripcurl, billabong whatever)worth spending money on, as I'll be looking for 3 of them.

Anyone have any experience of sending back an x cel suit to be repaired? Few problems with mine and they said to send it over.

I have had the same Mutant for almost 2 years now found it good and its still in good shape. Going for The Xcel 5mm Infiniti Drylock looks like the Bomb this year.

got one last year and to say it didnt last is an understatement, and i didnt do as much surfing as i should of been doing, warm but didnt last needs to be sent back too

xcel hooded drylock if it fits well or a ripcurl e-bomb hooded if not.

High Pockets- 09-10-2008
Yeah id like to go for an xcel again but there's mitigating circumstances and i have to wait and see what happens.

Its just Im getting old and soft and cold much sooner and il like a suit now but i might wait and see what happens next.

I think its hit and miss with the way the wettie's are being made. I just read the post about sending back an Xcel. I also have a mate who is sending back his 3/2 Xcel....... unsure.gif
