there a load of rubbish is whats wrong with them!! Wetsuit i had lasted no lent, kness gave way after 2months....had a pair of gloves that lasted no more then 1month, the palm area withered away to nothing and boots i have now are in the bin, yet again worn away!! oh and i have billabong medim 4/3 brand new for sale, pm me if interested!! tag still on not even worn!!
I have a c-skin suit that is over 3 years old.
Thats because it is shit and I only wear it when Im desperate for a dry wetsuit.
Just ordered myself a new discounted summer ripcurl (from another site). Comfortable, warm, flexible, excellent warranty. Works well as long as you have a spare suit to act as a backup while your one gets exchanged, which from my experience takes 2 to 3 weeks.
Excel on the other hand, getting on for 4 f*cking months now.
My advice, get ripcurl but be expecting to get it changed for a new one (under warranty) every so often.

it's a sorry state of affairs when you're choosing wetsuits based upon the turnaround times for warantee repairs/replacements. it's a shame no-one builds a decent suit. i'm probably going to stick with xcel
mpb - my xcel repair was turned around in about 4 weeks (xcel repair via the green room) - maybe you just got unlucky?

Circle-One (Don't laugh) makes a good suit, it's just made well and doesnt have any gimmicks, the new Winter's even have a Bat flap!!

O'Neill are the best suits for me, I'm heading in to my 3rd winter with my pyscho2. ITs getting thin at the knees admittedly but I should get the winter out of it. My wife has a mutant 5:3 and I'm very tempted to get one.

Oh yeah Circle One are good but I would stay with Rip Curl, they are so warm!!

Or maybe I do not live near the shop and therefore had to rely upon people doing what they said that they were going to do.

I think a better measure of how long a suit lasts is how many hours it was used for. Like I said before, my c-skin has lasted ages, but only because I do not wear it very often.
