surprised how much knackered rubber can accumulate in a garage over a few years... apart keeping the best of them for visitors & chopping off bits to patch newer suits, what can you do with them?

will the recycle centres take 'em? must have a multitude of uses still - floor/carpet underlay, sound/heat insulation, combine with old tyres to make groovy old-skool flipflops?

Add a few zips and chains and sell them on to "specialist" markets.

I just googled 'wetsuit fetish' for a laugh,

more the fool me for assuming that there would be no such thing.

rather like the sound of this idea...you could actually set up a small cottage industry making these me thinks.....

nice one, but not sure how i'd like any representatives of the "alternative" rubber-loving community visiting my garage!

... not sure how many of the the rubber loving community would like the subtle aromas emminating from my pile of several year old wetsuits - then again.....

you could wash them out and donate them to a youth group or something!!! Or maybe turn one into a notebook sleeve http://www.lifehacker.com.au/tips/2008/03/...p_sleeve-2.html
. maybe chop the legs and arms of a wetsuit and use it as a summer suit. Could make a wetsuit for your dog out of one, or chop them up into little squares and put them in little packets and sell them to a surf shop as patches for suit repairs!
