Well done Gary Hall for winning the competiton for the second time. What with less than ideal waves, rain, wind, it was good to see smooth stylish longboarding still win through.

I should have spent the money on some judges instead!.

I have to say that IMHO head judge pascal was missed during this competiton, but well done to all those who contributed to the running of the event.

Had to bail early yesterday morning so didn't get to see any of the final heats but thoroughly enjoyed seeing the displays of skill throughout Saturday.

This probably isnt really the place to go into it, and I would not want to detract from all of the good work that went into the competition, and the enjoyment of it. I will send you a pm later with my views.

Great weekend again. What I remember of it - Tequila is bad for you!!!!!!. Re the judging - I think its wrong to have competitors judging heats.

It looks hard enough, but must have been near impossible in the slop. Fair play to them
