Whats the format of the comp? is it heats on Saturday and final on Sunday?

The plan is to run as many of the heats and finals on Saturday as possible, the first heats will be in the water shortly after the safety briefing at 08h30. Heats will be 20mins with 5 min paddling out time, which overlaps with the last five minutes of previous heat. Seeing as there are 16 heats, 8 second round heats, 4 quarter final, 2 semi final and a final, that makes 31 heats altogether. That is over 10 hours of surfing so it is unlikely that all will be run off on Saturday.
