dug up my copy of the mag and they do not mention one spot in vietnam, they just say south of Hanoi, ordnance survey map and off road jeep and off you go...i think they are pretty respectful of not mentioning sensitive spots cos in the same mag there is an article on Ireland and the only place they mention is Bundoran, there is a pic of Easkey but they dont name it... so sorry i couldnt be of more help....

Check out the stormriders world volume 2, it covers vietnam. looks to be very seasonal.

Well booked tickets for my mini round world adventure, starting in thailand and going to see cambodia, laos and vietnam before i head on to ozz to do some surfing.

I was looking up surfing in the region and the best seems to be a place called china beach which really goes off at this time of the year and specially when im there, i even found a site that does a daily surf report there but its all in vietnamise or something.

Surf looks good, looks like a tramore in vietnam to be hoenst but the water will be scorching so i definately will check this place during my travels, the wave looks like a great longboarding place but unfortunately i cant be dragging a long board around asia for only one surf spot so im going to try sort myself out with a decent shortboard before i go.
