I've just booked my hols - Tignes flying out on the 12th. fingers crossed for a dump.

There wasn't much snow in the last few weeks, but it seems to be starting up this weekend again. There's a big dump forecast in L2A on Sunday. Not sure how close that is to Tignes.

they're both in france . tignes is due a dump too - the only worry is there seems to be a bit of a warming trend - freezing level set to rise to 2000+m. looks the same for L2A - rain at village level on sunday to wednesday during the day.

when are you off BA?

This usually gets results.

I had a huge dump at Christmas, mainly consisting of turkey and stuffing.

A good indian can do wonders too....

tignes due about 80cm this week with falling temperatures after the early part of next week. more to follow hopefully when we're there.

forecast looks similar for L2A - but warming later in the forecast too.

no 2nd to the same spots. i got 2 days one to one coaching the last time and kinda had the hang of it by the end of 5 days despite a broken hole. bought the bomber shorts this year to prevent a repeat

Just driven in from Clare (Quin / Sixmilebridge) side, and it snowed all the way in, pretty heavey too. Go easy out there.

I reckon the incoming south westerlies will bring milder temps which will clear all the lying snow over the next hour or so.
