Anyone else from Cork heading up. It'd be a pretty quiet drive otherwise

Does anyone have any hotel/accomodation recommendations for the area!. I'm looking for an economical solution that is suitable for a young family. Cheers. longboardirl/hang loose.jpg

we once stayed in a nice b&b (family room) overlooking the peak with car park behind it - I'll try and see if I can find online

Stayed in one of the Tyrconnel houses (spelling?) with the small fellow and my wife when he had just started crawling, for the Intercounties a few years ago. Cost was very reasonable and much handier with small ones than a B&B or hotel as you have microwave, kettles etc for bottles and all that. A few others on here have stayed there too.

I think the name was the avondale b&b. Old style guesthouse. Its on Bayview terrace right overlooking the peak. The surfnturf lodge has family rooms too.
