the avondale is well handy alright and a nice b and b to boot with a great view of the peak.tis great for the dawnies as you can just roll out of bed and look out the window and decide bed or peak.rooms are quite big also perfect for a family longboardirl/smiley20.gif

if your on a budge the homefield hostel is great, they have rooms to cater for all....

Its a balance between between cash and an acceptable standard. Whenever hostel is mentioned I start running!.

The self catering route would probably be the easiest, I think I will look into that.

Yeah, hostels and kids aren't a great mix imho: "Daddy, why is that man singing so loud in the middle of the night?".
On a related note we got a good babysitter up there before which rocked. You can only keep the kids up so late and it sucks heading home when everyone else is only starting their night. The guys who run the houses would probably point you in the right direction.

wes can confirm but i'm sure the holiday cottages in dinglycush are resonable for a weekend and are great for a family. ask for matt britton. used to stay there one time
