With regret we have decided this morning to postpone the surf comp from this weekend. There are a few factors coming together which makes it more sensible to run it on another weekend. Obviously we have experienced a very stormy week here and we are not out of the woods yet! There is some promise that late in the weekend things may become more useable. In the meantime forecast high wind speeds are influencing our decision.

Many people expressed regret that they could not attend this weekend due to previously arranged Xmas parties etc. Hopefully with a rescheduled date we can gain some extra entrants. A good suggestion in the last few days that has gained some momentum is to run the comp during the Xmas week sometime between Dec 27th and 31st. We will keep you posted what ever date is set.

However the "SurfChixxx" gig is going ahead this Saturday night at the Speckled Door pub on the Old Head at 9pm. There will be a warm up surf tunes before the girls play their set and a DJ session afterwards! There is already great interest in this and a good night is guaranteed, so if you're the Cork area do come along and get the Xmas party season started. Pm me if you need directions & details etc.
