Still got a fierce phobia/fear of the feckin' things.
The three times I have been to Indo I have never come across one thank god. One time we started trekking down the overgrown little path to Padang Padang and a huge rain shower came down on us completely flooding the little path, funk that.... the car is only 50mtrs away. Couldn't do it as soon as it got into my head.
Every time I surf over there my knuckles are white from keeping the fingers so tightly packed together.

I had a black mamba slither across a path in front of me in SA . I find looking at animals like that very surreal, your so used to seeing them on tv that you dont really appreciate that your seeing them for real.

Watched way too much Tarzan when I was young.

I dived the yongala (queensland) a few years back. It was first time i got to see sea snakes in the water, and needles to say i was a tad over inquisitive. Being stupidly oblivious to the consequences I let it swim through my hands and arms as it was going up and down for air

...... As you can imagine i crapped myself when back on the boat a jibing aussie informed me how poisonous they were

The chances for being attacked by a shark are somewhat worse then winning the lottery. How unlucky is this guy with two sharks attacking him!!!

sorry bout delay in writing this but two days ago there was another attack, place called green mouth or mount not to sure, few beaches up from cooly, was all over local news here, the guy was out recording his mates surfing with an under water camera!!!

looks like it wasnt a shark just a barracuda!!

Another shark attack

There was a Great white attack last week in Lieucadia in San Diego. The break just near the Longboard Grotto/ A guy training for a triathlon was killed....RIP
