Ryanair announced today that it will increase baggage and airport check-in charges from May 5.

From this date, the charge for checking in baggage rises from €9 per bag to €10, having gone up from €6 in January. The airport check-in fee goes up from €4 to €5.

Ryanair said that passengers can avoid these charges by checking in on-line and by travelling with just carry-on luggage.

me? (i'm none of the above though). you can take a bag that's 55x40x20cm wighing in at 10kg, although they haven't checked the size of or weighed my luggage. that's a big enough bag for jeans jumper and stuff for a 5 day visit i find.
