I tried bringing in four Cooperfish about 15 months ago but Gene Cooper has such a long waiting list that he wasn't taking on any orders at the time.

Might be worth another email?

vegaluca- 10-24-2007
Just to let you know it seems that Gene is back taking orders now.... as the title of the thread states, Pure Filth !

So vega you puttin in an order ? Yellow resin tint hornet ?

vegaluca- 10-24-2007
Can't afford it at the moment. The Hornet would be in my thinking though, along with the Tyler Point & the LC Classic 60's pin.
It would be nice to come back from the Jamboards meet with something like that overhead.

vegaluca- 10-24-2007
Okay, seeing as this thread is titled Pure Filth and we all like to get off on board porn why not fire up what you would consider as pure filth and could see it in your quiver sometime soon.

What are the prices like back in the states ? expensive over here almost €1500 for the Hess pacheco quad from perfect trim in the uk

navier-stokes- 10-24-2007
my buddy has two in his shop for 1295 us each... which i know is pricey, but again I am thinking board for life here.....

i emailed him and he quoted me the same thing, though we did not talk shipping etc...though i would proably just arrange for a pick up stateside and bring it back as i average about two trips a year to the states.

"The Love Bird is a conceptual wonder of master shred-stick shaper Matt Calvani and myself. We have designed this board to be a functional piece of art. Each board will have a unique fabric inlay deck patch, pigmented bottom wrap and custom designed Love Bird fabric fin. Over the last decade of riding Hap's boards, I've been able to pick aspects of multiple boards and infuse them into my first & favorite board model for Jacobs. This board is the all around small to medium wave wizard. We've pulled the nose in for a tighter fit in the lip line, which equals unmatched stability and foam ball stomping noserides. For further lift while perched on the tip, we have added a modest tail rocker and wide based 9" - 10" single fin. Matt created a magical diamond tail with a scooped out deck that's pure eye candy. The Love Bird also has a slight V- bottom through the tail, which allow for unmatched maneuverability off the back foot and through full rail power turns. Strap on your seat belts, get ready for something new and spread a little love."

Sounds similar to the gold stadard
