Ah you've just gone soft in your old age! I remember when you uset be hanging off a log regardless how big it got!

and then I used what little intellect I have left (old age and all that!) to figure out that it is actually a lot easier and possibly more satisfying to ride a smaller board in those conditions. It means that I can get more sessions in, and not be so reliant upon finding perfect logging conditions.

at the same time I still love my longboard, I had 3 weeks of solid longboarding there a while back, and didnt need a leash for any of them.

one of the glassing racks has a pile of tape under it 3 ft high!! im sure keeping 3m in business

Is that a mini-simmons Longz?, now that would be a really interesting ride report.

I saw a few pics over the weekend of a 5ft mini simmons surfed at the peak last Tuesday night and it looked like the thing was absolutely flying.

Seemed to be able to hold a very high line for something so small.
