I agree wholeheartedly.

I'd rather pay shipping and tax from the UK or US than put up with that !

they said they would have the first pics of the flex series out this week on swaylocks as they have been working on the probox website for a while

Okay, I really want to get a 9.75" Greenough 4a and a Farberow Flex 10" fin sorted. I just put in an example order with becker surf for 4 fins and you can get 2 Greenough 4a 9.75" and 2 Farberow Flex 10" for roughly 47 euro each including shipping. Works out around 11 euro shipping for each fin. Anyone else interested in putting in an order?

the TK flex is the Faberow: price €46

the 4a greenough is the new MD3: €49 http://store.magicseaweed.com/Detemplate-M...2-Fin/Item/991/

wanye rich is the rusty flex : €44

wingnut cutaway: €47

they basically have all the same fins, but different names.

reason they are more expensive than T ames, they aint made in china!!!

How do Rainbow fins measure up to True Ames? Seems to be a bias toward T.A.! Is there quality etc comparable? What sizes in the MD3 and TK Flex Glide?

glide- 02-04-2008
i have a few fins of each both truA and rainbow no difference at all its just that due to the china thing more shops have TAmes as they are cheaper

spoke to larry at FGF co?probox and he is sending on a pricelist

Tk Flex comes in 8.5, 9.5" 8.5 is €2 cheaper
Md3 comes in 8,9,10" and 9 is €1 cheaper and 8" €2 cheaper

all the companies are making all the same fins at the moment
cjb do all the greenough stuff aswell

The MD3 is different to the greenough 4a (I have both), The md3 is much thicker with far less flex. The 4a is more suitable to light to medium weight riders, and the md3 for heavier. The md3 is one of my favourite fins. Its not just the shape that makes different fins work for different people and boards.

You can order direct from true ames themselves. I'm just going to order my fin direct myself, otherwise there will be postage to pay this side as well if we combine forces.

I took some photos of some of the fins i have in stock for you all to see. As you can see most of them are black or blank translucent.
In terms of prices for LBI they range from 30.54 (ex VAT) for a greenough 4a 9inch, €34.04 for a feberow flex 9inch (ex VAT). Generally in between 30-40 euro ex vat. postage with Anpost for a fin or two is about 4-7 euros.
