Hey

Heading to Morocco next week, got a cheap package deal to agadir with flights n Accom.

Does anyone know how easy/ cheap it is to rent a car over there or should we book it before we go?

Any advice on breaks to head to?

Can't wait!!

Cars are pretty sketchy there. Have never rented, but we always stay in Agadir and got the bus up to t'zhoute or banana village (you will know it when the bus stopos there). These spots are only 20 - 25mins up the road from Agadir and full of nice points and beachies. Bus costs about 40c and you can take a board on it no prob. Think the bus is the Zetrap nr 60, ask in wherever you are staying.

Have fun

hows it going, went to morocco a few years ago and rented a car, compare to countries like spain its a bit pricey but thought it was well worth it as its so handy not to have to rely on the buses, a word of warning though;

i would strongly advise you to avoid the big car hire companies like hertz who will rip you off, For example we were quoted €1700 approx for 4 weeks for a 5 door car in hertz but we managed to rent the same car,after a lot of haggling, in a morroccan car hire place for only €850, and we couldnt praise the morroccan place enough, they were very helpful, good humoured, professional etc, the name of the moroccan car hire place was : YOUNESS CARS, Mohammed V boulevard , Agadir. Had a few teething problems with the first car and they replaced it straight away, no hassle.

have a good trip anyway boss
its a cool country even if you dont get lucky with the surf
