Just buy a Mandala, Beaner. Fastest board on the water  biggrin.gif

I got a yellow 5'11" and wasn't disappointed

Umm very tasty. Had a v brief go on MPBs Christensen quad whilst in Morocco, could certainly feel the potential despite being a complete novice to shortboards.
Cant drag myself away from bigger centre fins but would like to try a quad set up on something over 9' for a more direct comparison.

Whats it like paddling such a small board biggrin.gif

It paddles surprisingly well. Probably better than my retro fish.

Not unless someone gurantees that I wont wipeout/have to spend any time on the inside!.

There are other more manageable waves where it could work well. Definitely one of those boards you would like to try rather than buy.
