Off for a non surf trip to Lisbon this weekend, anyone any recommendations what to see, where to eat / drink etc. Have the usual guide books, but there is always a great bit of travel info shared on here

was there for the easter long weekend.a great spot alright.
make sure you get up to st george´s castle up over the city as it is a great place to get scenic shots of the city.
there are 3 different opentop bus routes the yellow one is the best as it brings you down to the expo area(left of the bridge) but the aquarium is a bit repetetive,oceanografic in valencia is much better

you can get the tram out to the area(right of the bridge) where the monument to the discoveries is which is a mammoth piece of work and definately worth a look,and there is a lot more to see in that area,which i cant think of now.
if ya want the bit of culture head to the fado bars...the women sing like banshees but when yer full of port it sounds great.

If you are not already gone make sure you check out the aquarium down on the waterfront! Its fantastic! Had a great time there over a couple of trips. Had a good night watching Benfica play in the Champions league too1
