Ok seems the right time to introduce myself as my new longboard has just finished curing in the hot room.

Me, 32, of bavarian origin, stuck in Belfast (long story), researching something to do with waves (longer story!)
rolleyes.gif and surfing for about 2? years now, mostly up north. travelled a couple of times to the west Lahinch and Sligo, and to Portugal for a week. Not married and no kids (longest story biggrin.gif )

I suppose thanks go to glide for telling DrAl all the tricks of the trade. We spent all of easter scratching our heads many a times and trying to get rid of that distinct resin stink. I think it was worth it - would do it again. Love that pointy pin-tail!

Cheers, Max

Your 1st board?

Congrads mate, looks sweet.

Aye! Thought it would look kinda DIYish, but in the end it doesn't look too bad biggrin.gif

Can't wait to surf it longboardirl/surfing.gif

Hello all,

Said Id introduce myself like everybody else..

23, from Cork, living in Cork and surfing mostly....In Cork.

Been for 4 or 5ish years now me thinx- mainly shortboards but can be seen from time to time on a sponge and currently in the process of expanding my quiver with retro fish and maybe a log.

Have surfed in France, Oz, Hawaii, Fiji, California. Something strangley warming about getting changed in the pissing rain on the side of the road in the middle of winter here at home tho and thawing out slowly all the way home!

Other interests- mountainboarding, diving, eating, drinking, sleeping and blinking!

Thats about me I think.... longboardirl/cheers.gif longboardirl/smileslayer.gif

Hi, Lorna here

24, from Galway, living in dublin (for my sins)

Started surfing 4 years ago in san diego, only ever longboarded-why bother with anything else? It took me a while to get used to surfing in cold water with a wetsuit on but ive finally made the transition.

Mabey see some of ye on the west coast when a swell hits on a weekend biggrin.gif

longboardirl/welcome2.gif Good to have you on board. Maybe you'll make it to the Lahinch longboard competition in september. LBI is usually well represented
