it is basically a tail shape so that the surfer should be able to surf aswell on the heel side as the toeside

I think a lot of windsurfers (depending on the place) use asymmetrical boards

I think that was made to break some record for the amount of surfers on one board. What a waste of materials for one day in the water.

i think you'll find it's more a case of one board for surfing rights and one for lefts. if you went out on an a-frame you'd need a caddy. laugh.gif
