Any recommendations for accommodation over on the North Shore. Heading for last two weeks of November and plan is to spend a few nights first in Waikiki, then head over to Haleiwa for a few nights, then to Maui for a few days, then back to Waikiki.

Have stayed in Waikiki before, so am sorted there, but the rest is still open.

Any suggestions?

Heading over on Saturday morning, can't wait.

Have booked in to the hotel in Waikiki for the two weeks, so at least we have the freedom to come and go as we please. The journey from Waikiki to the north shore is only about 30-45 mins so no big problem heading over and car rental is reasonable, so all good.

Have a good trip!! Take a few pics in the Bishop museum.

See ye all in a couple of weeks, nice swells hitting the islands at the moment, looking forward to sime nice cruisy days in Waikiki, some challenging days around Diamond Head and maybe a bit of action on the north shore if things stay in the 3 -6 ft size.

just back from there. north shore is beautiful. check out the surf musem in Haleiwa -- the old guy working there is hilarious and still charges on decent size days, no doubt he will show you his pictures.
and bring a japanese phrase book for Honolulu.
