Gills are starting to dry up. Forecast looks poor. It's amazing what you can get done over a weekend of no surf though. I now have one damn shiny van and a severe lack of discernable fingerprints to show for the last two days laugh.gif

What the rest o ye get up to?

Record weekend for BBQs, had one Friday with couple of firends who were visiting, then Saturday morning a few sausages 'fell' onto the BBQ, followed by a couple of burgers! Saturday evening was a big 40th bash for brother in Wicklow, so another BBQ (followed by a relighting og the BBQ at 2h00 am!). Sunday morning back in Clare (only time to drive from east to west in Ireland is middle of night) and it seemed fitting to have another breakfst BBQ with sun streaming into back garden.

Other than that the weekend was spent cutting lawns and hedges. Then a nice easy session with the lads yesterday evening. Nice atmosphere in the water as Krusty said. Summer suit coming out next weekend though, maybe even during the week if anything appears.

Weekend was rounded off with some nice chicken kebabs on the BBQ last night, just as darkness fell.

If I wasn't knee deep in T-Cut all weekend I'd have gone down to the beach behind my gaf and taken a shotgun to all the petrol heads buzzing around down there. Even from my drive the noise of em irritated the shite out of me!

Trained friday for first time in 6 weeks and nearly died.Got nabbed with tidy towns shovelling and sweeping sat morning. Surfed West mayo saturday afternoon got 2 waves then it went from bad to worse, Sunday had a look round bellmullet before a game and there was a wave. Played the game came back and it was gone, so went to play anther game!! That finished and i took a notion to head for Enniscrone, mother was walking the dog there and rang to say there were no waves! So back to dublin i went and murdered a few nice pints of guinness sun eve. Roll on next weekend!

sligo was nice too - knee-high to a grasshopper but just enough punch to get a decent trim along going... another little pulse showing for next couple of days too!
