How did it go

overhead and cleanish at the start of the day, and some good shots here, got a bit lumpy and bumpy when the tide filled in and the wind picked up - huge attendance!

I would estimate about 300 people in the early afternoon

There were people there from 11 until after 6 - my brother was there at 11 to surf, my brother-in-law was there from 3 til 5 and I was there from 5 to 6. The car parking was beyond the bridge and almost down as far as the bend - Ive no idea of how many where there in total all day, I just reckon that the attendance was very large compared to other surf events at the same location (last years Mananan kick off for example didnt have the same numbers).
