Hey guys, Me bro's just got a new board from glide..(beautiful board) not sure of demensions? 9' 4" in length and guessing something like 23" wide, 2.5 thick?????
was wondering what kinda fin he should go for? I haven't a clue?
Glide what would you recommend?

The fin that came with it

20" hatchet fin.

Before we can really give any meaningful advice we would need to know at least the following:

Length
Width
Thickness
Tail shape
Tail width
Rail shape
Bottom shape
Rider weight
Turning versus noseriding requirements (how the owner wants to ride the board)
Type of waves to be ridden on (this kind of overlaps with the above)

Even then it comes down to experimentation with fins and the fin postioning.

However, the fins mentioned so far are all a pretty safe place to start with (unless your heavy in which case you might want to give the 4a and the Fareberow a miss).

a 9.5" faberow or tk flex would be the fin for that board

managed to get a few sneaky waves on her on saturday , beautiful board!!

out of interest and to add to my complete lack of board knowledge.. The rails seemed much sharper?? than any other LB i've ever been on.. Is that mainly to improve turning?
