And republic of loose are fab too but i am slightly biased there cos i know the singer...Kila are great too, jesus i will be down for that..sure i will still be in festival mode what with the electric picnic the week before and all!!!

No surprise there it's not on the ISA calendar, can't see it being a serious surfing event, are you using the south end of the beach to get access ? What happens then will the golf club want to move the surfers entrance ?

Would love to see a crowd of 500/1000 people park and get to the beach.No toilets ....And a very high tide ....Hope they have organized a bus load of lifeguards....

Break out the inflatable and a bag of cans and watch the madness:D

i heard it was suppposed to be a invitation-type comp - any word on this?
though the fact that it's not an ISA event, not cleared with any of the local surf clubs and not even in any state of final organisation, makes me believe that the whole proposed surfing element will fall through... pie in the sky idea in the first place...

however the musical line-up looks good, anyone going?

can't listen to ocean colour scene without being transported straight back to long sunny lazy days in college! good times...

i'm going to get tickets, true MCD are tossers but they are bound to be on their best behaviour as people are getting refunded for the streisand (sp?) disaster now...

I'd do me usual living in the dunes trick but Clare always seems to have too much dame rock/parking attendents

Should any of ye were going to ring the Green arces campsite in Kilkee then don't bother. Just off the phone to some wagon who, despite being booked solid for that weekend, upon confirming they'd no available space went on a rant about them being sooo busy that they don't want an'thin ta do with it anymore!!! No pleasein' some folk!!!
